Use PlantWatch
Live production status
Use current operating states, output, loads, and process values to build a shared view of production.

Purpose of the live view
The live production view brings selected machine states and process values into one place. It gives operators and production teams a shared picture of what is running, stopped, or changing.
PlantWatch reflects the signals configured for the installation. The available machines, values, and status definitions therefore depend on the selected production area.
Information to include
A useful live view focuses on signals that help the team make a decision. These can include:
- Operating and production states
- Output or production counters
- Machine and conveyor loads
- Temperatures and other process values
- Active alarms or interlocks
Avoid adding every available signal. Start with the states and values connected to the production question defined during rollout.
Interpret operating states
State names should use language familiar to the operators. Agree on clear definitions for running, idle, stopped, faulted, or any plant-specific state.
The controller signal remains the source of the displayed state. If a state appears unclear, confirm the underlying signal mapping with the responsible engineering contact.
Move from current state to history
The live view explains what is happening now. To understand when a state began or which events led to it, continue with Analyze downtime and Explore historical trends.
